Around 838 civil servant candidates (CPNS) are appointed as Jakarta civil servant (PNS). It is based on Jakarta Governor’s Decree No. 550/2016 dated on February 25, 2016 and No. 562/2016 dated on February 26, 2015 on Appointment of Civil Servant under Jakarta Provincial Government.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama instructs the CPNS to be appointed as PNS thus they could work diligently in serving the public.

"Congratulations to you who have been constituted. But don't cheating me, I will demote you," he said, when he gave a speech and handed over CPNS Decree Becomes PNS on 2nd floor of the hall, Tekhnis Abdul Muis Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday (3/10).

He stated, at this time, the new PNS can already get salary by Rp 12-13 million per month. This salary is deliberately given thus they can be proud of their work and to work optimally.

"At this time, Jakarta PNS's salary is highest at national level, we allocate up to Rp 18.7 trillion. So your duty is to prosper Jakarta citizens and so on. PTSP does not open illegal levies to the applicant," he finished.
