JEDI Package IV Project Has Reached 80 Percent

Head of Jakarta Water Management Dept, Teguh Hendrawan disclosed, project of Jakarta Emergency Dredging Initiative (JEDI) in four locations Package IV has reached above 80 percent.

The JEDI project includes infrastructure improvement at Sunter Utara Dam, Sunter Selatan Dam, Senting Sunter River and Sunter Timur II Dam, that carried out by Jakarta Water Management Dept.
He stated, sheet pile construction is almost done. Installation of capping beam and gendong channel also keep being accelerated.

His side continues to accelerate the project worth Rp 296 billion to be finished on time. He targets, by the end of this year, sheet pile installation could already 100 percent, and then dredged.
"It just awaits its closure. If the sheet pile is installed, I will dredge above 10 meters thus its water reservoirs can accommodate more. By so, this can minimize flood around 30 percent," he finished.
