Governor Attends in Regional Environmental Management Performance Meeting

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat attended in the Meeting about Information Document Presentation of Regional Environmental Management Performance (DIKPLHD). The meeting was held in the Environment and Forestry Ministry Office, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta.

Djarot dislcosed there are five aspects presented to the appraisal board.

Those aspects are cleanliness of rivers, reservoirs and ponds; park cleanliness and garbage processing; transportation; residential and flood.
"The important thing is Jakarta Provincial Government has tried to tell an open government," he expressed, after he attended in private meeting, Saturday (7/8).
He hoped, what has been done by Jakarta government can become an example for other regions in Indonesia.
"We allow them to imitate a good program. We have applied the open governments in Jakarta," he stated.
As for the information, such meeting was attended by local heads and its representatives. It run at around 8.30-11 AM.
