Jakarta is a densely populated area, most septic tanks are made not within safe distance
The sewage company PD PAL Jaya is optimizing local waste-water treatment plants (IPAL) or known as Bio PAL in areas that are not yet connected to piping systems.
The use of Bio PAL continues to be intensified to become a septic tank. It is because Bio IPAL is made from special anti-leak materials to prevent sewage from groundwater contamination in residential neighborhoods.
Groundwater Use must Be Supervised TightlyPD PAL Jaya President Director, Subekti expressed, there are currently two types of Bio PAL produced by Type 1 with a capacity of 1.125 cubic meters and Type 2 with a capacity of 3.300 cubic meters.
"Bio PAL Type 1 is sold at Rp 4,380,000 and Bio PAL Type 2 at Rp 17,960,000," he expressed, Tuesday (8/22).
Especially for Bio PAL Type 1, can be used for one house. While for Type 2 can be a communal IPAL, as it can be used up to five houses.
"We guarantee Bio PAL won't leak in use for 30 years. Jakarta is a densely populated area, most septic tanks are made not within safe distance," he explained.
He added PD PAL Jaya also gives after-sales service in the form of periodic sewage service or if septic tank Bio PAL is full.
"It's important for me to tell the public that if septic tank has been used for a long time but not full and this is actually dangerous. This can be ascertained that the septic tank was leaking and polluting the environment unwittingly," he closed.
