Andika Purnomo, Section Head of Development and Improvement for East Flow River and Coast Systems stated that sheetpile is developed up to 1,900 meters length. It has been carried out since July 2018.

It is an effort to overcome inundation that often occurs on Jalan Boulevard Barat during rainy season. In the future, at the end of the river, there will be a pump house to flow water to Sunter River.
"Yet its pump procurement is not this year. Temporarily we will make a bend first. Our target the work can be complete by the end of this year," he hoped.
