Company Visit Participants Enthusiastically Visit LRT Depot

PT Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jakarta, held a company visit or student visit to the company for participants of the 16th University of Indonesia Civil Engineering National Summit (CENS UI) at Pegangsaan II LRT Depot, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Project Planning of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), Asifa Nabila, said that it was aimed to introduce the ins and outs of Jakarta LRT to students majoring in civil engineering.

"The material given is about the Jakarta LRT railroad facilities, especially Corridor I, Kelapa Gading - Velodrome," he expressed, Tuesday (11/13).

His also gave an explanation of the planning of LRT development, LRT components, supporting development, maintenance and so forth.

In the meantime, representatives from the Civil Engineering University of Indonesia (UI) who are also in charge of the company visit, Virginia Avrilla said, the number of participants are 50 people. They are from the Indonesia University, Bandung Technical Institute, Indonesian Islamic University, Pertamina University, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (Surabaya), Semarang State Polytechnic, and Gadjah Mada University.

"With this visit we can see first hand the process and how it works," he stated.
