The anticipation over riot that might occur post Constitutional Court (MK) verdict on the 2014 presidential election result dispute is carried out by securing some vital objects in the capital city. Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police Chief AKBP Asep Adi Saputra said that to secure the port, layered security is carried out by joint forces from 350 Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police personnel and 100 City Police Mobile Brigade personnel.

“We’re putting a total of 450 personnel on standby. This alert-1 security measures has been conducted sine yesterday,” he stated, Thursday (8/21).

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Metro Resort Police Operational Division Chief AKBP Allan Satya told that his party got help from City Police Mobile Brigade in form of 600 personnel. Later, these policemen will be deployed to some vital and economical objects spread in the municipality.

“Our personnel are 400 men. So, a total of 1,000 personnel are deployed to those objects. They will be guarding until there is an order that the situation is conducive and no more guard needed,” he uttered.
