Thousand Islands Anniversary, Regency Injects Donations to 382 Orphans

Thousand Islands Regency gave donations to 382 orphans in two sub-districts of Thousand Islands, Monday (11/11).

This is a part of our concern towards the orphans as well as gratitude in commemorating the 18th Anniversary of Thousand Islands

This donation was officially given by Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad at Regency Plaza, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.

"This is a part of our concern towards the orphans as well as gratitude in commemorating the 18th Anniversary of Thousand Islands," he conveyed.

Thousand Islands to Hold Water Sport Competition in November

Besides giving donation, his party celebrated the anniversary by cutting a tumpeng (cone-shaped rice) and holding other humanitarian social activities such as blood donor and free medical examination.

To enliven the event, his party also plans to hold professional water sport championship for the locals and tourists.

In this chance, the general public is also invited to come and enjoy the event since it will still continue on November 16-17 on Pramuka Island and November 23-24 on Tidung Island.
