Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan conveyed his response after hearing the general views of Jakarta DPRD factions against Regional Regulation Draft (Raperda) of 2020 City Budget Draft, on Wednesday (12/4).

"Jakarta Provincial Government tries to implement regional tax intensification and extensification through online system, fiscal cadaster, collecting tax receivables, law enforcement, adjusting tax rates and extending cooperation agreements with Jakarta Attorney General, and improving the quality of tax payments," he explained as mentioned from Jakarta PPID Press Conference.

He reiterated that international event could not be seen as a sporting event but rather as a strategic initiative for the development and use of sustainable renewable energy, tourism and sports development, and wider investment.
"These economic and investment development priorities are as important as basic infrastructure development such as rail-based transportation development, clean water development and wastewater treatment, housing and settlement development, where all the budgeting in APBD have been adjusted to the stages of priority," he said.
