Flood at Matraman Underpass Being Drained

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department personnel drain the floodwater from Matraman Underpass, Monday (2/25).

Currently, it can't be passed by vehicles

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-department Unit's Officer on Duty, Sunaryo conveyed, his side used one mobile pump to drain the floodwater.

"Currently, it can't be passed by vehicles. Four personnel are still draining the floodwater," he mentioned.

For now, Matraman Underpass is inundated by floodwater that reached a depth of 60 centimeters from the deepest point. Moreover PPSU personnel also deployed to clean the garbage and mud on the location.

"It is receding gradually from around 10 AM. At first, it reached 80 centimeters but now it recedes to 60 centimeters at the deepest point of the underpass," he informed.
