Jakartans have been struggling to get hold of surgical and N95 masks as sellers run out and prices skyrocket. Seeing this case, the PT LRT Jakarta takes the initiative to provide hand sanitizer in front of the ticket counters in each of the mass transportation modes.

"We also put up a banner containing educational information related to corona virus prevention," expressed PT LRT Jakarta Secretary Division Head, Arnold Kindangen, Tuesday (3/3).

PT Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Nadia Diposanjoyo expressed hand sanitizers have been available at 80 Transjakarta bus stops. The number will still increase to all bus stops.

"We also educate customers through social media related to virus prevention," she told.

While PT MRT Jakarta Secretary Corporate Muhammad Kamaluddin added MRT train is routinely cleaned with special methods that can prevent the spread of viruses.

"We also provide hand sanitizer in all MRT stations," he stated.
