Governor Forms COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force in JakartaHis party also coordinated with the central government in handling its spread.
"Our steps are in line with the tactical strategy in dealing with this virus. InsyaAllah, we can control it optimally," he explained.
He also asserted that the role of citizens was also important to optimize its prevention.
"We need them support to understand how to prevent transmission and consciously be responsible for being a preventative," he stressed.
At the same time, BNPB Head Doni Monardo explained coordination between the central and local governments had important role in preventing the virus.
"This is time to focus thus all people understand what threats we face and how we deal with them together. As the head of the Task Force, I hope we can optimize all the potential that exists from the provincial, municipal, urban village to RT/RW levels. So, this is the right time to unite and look after one another amid coronavirus fears," he closed.
