Facilities in Ayer and Bidadari Islands Sprayed with Disinfectant

Two resort islands in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands were sprayed with disinfecant by joint personnel from Thousand Islands PMI, Gulkarmat Sub-Agency, health workers, and Satpol PP.

Thousand Islands PMI Chairman, Natsir Sabara said, his team sprayed Ayer Island and Bidadari Island.

"All facilities start from lodging, game rides, gazebos, and restaurants were sprayed with disinfectant," he explained, Friday (4/3).

Kaliadem Port Tightens Entry Access to Thousand Islands

His side prioritized to disinfect resort islands because most local and foreign tourists took a vacation on the islands, especially on national holidays or long weekends.

Meanwhile, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Supriyadi stated, disinfectant spraying was carried out to optimize the prevention of COVID-19 transmission.

"Several officers are on standby on the port to disinfect taxi boat which departed from Tanjung Pasir to transport goods and residents who went shopping from Tangerang, as well as checking passengers' body temperature," he said.
