The South Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has noted that as many as 429 points of South Jakarta have been sprayed with disinfectant since March 14.

South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head Helber Plider Luan Gaol mentioned, along March, it was conducted at 368 points, 59 points in April and 2 points in May.

"Since March, we began mass spraying by targeting all public areas and public facilities," he expressed, Monday (5/18).

He continued the most widely sprayed area was Pasar Minggu Sub-district (64 points), followed by Mampang Prapatan Sub-district (54 points) and Kebayoran Lama Sub-district (52 points).

There were also Jagakarsa Sub-district (40 points), Kebayoran Baru Sub-district (40 points), Pasanggrahan Sub-district (37 points), Cilandak Sub-district (35 points), Tebet Sub-district (33 points) and Setiabudi Sub-district (25 points).

"If calculated as a whole, South Jakarta has done 18 percent of the total 2,465 spraying in the entire Jakarta area," he stated.
