Around 2,295 coached traders in three coached locations (lokbin) and 61 temporary shelters (loksem) in South Jakarta have followed the rules of eco-friendly shopping bags usage.

"Surely we appreciate them," expressed South Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head, Shita Damayanti, Thursday (7/9).

In general, she expressed, they had understood and had high awareness regarding the impact of the dangers of plastic waste. She also appreciated shoppers in lokbin and loksem who had helped the city administration's program in using eco-friendly shopping bags.

"We educate all gradually. Hopefully we can remind each other in reducing single-use plastic bags," he hoped.
