West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency held inspection on sacrificial animals (qurban) at animal shelter located on Jl. Utan Jati, Pegadungan, Kalideres.
All qurban animals are healthy and meet the requirements to be sacrificed
West Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Iwan Indriyanto conveyed, in this inspection, his side checked qurban animal's health certificate (SKKH), animal shelter's condition, qurban animal's health and physical condition, and others.
"We want to make sure animal's condition is healthy and proper for qurban," he asserted, Wednesday (7/15).
Central Jakarta KPKP Inspects 39 Qurban Animals in Two LocationsHis personnel visited 7 qurban animal sellers on the location. Total animals sold on the location are 494 animals, consist of 332 cows, 5 buffalo, 155 goats, and 2 sheep.
"All qurban animals are healthy and meet the requirements to be sacrificed based on its proper age, no defects, and others," he explained.
The animal shelter, he added, also complied with health protocols, such as providing hand washing facility, maintaining safe distance, and wearing mask.
"After checking animals health, we put sticker on this animal shelter. There are 6 personnel deployed in this inspection," he closed.
