Flag Vendors Have Begun to Rampant in East Jakarta

Ahead of the 75th anniversary of Independence Day on August 17, a number of vendors who sell flags, umbul-umbul (decorative flag) and accessories began to rampant at several points across East Jakarta.

Buyers are still quiet

They are easily found at the Jatinegara Market entrance, Jalan Raya Matraman, Jalan Bekasi Timur, Jalan Jatinegara Timur, Jalan Jatinegara Barat, Jalan DI Panjaitan and Jalan Raya Bogor. So for those of you who want to buy a flag, you can visit such areas.

Nana (34), one of accessories vendors admitted he had been selling since a week ago. The COVID-19 pandemic, according to him, was enough to influence the sale of the flag.
