Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency continues to take anticipatory steps to prevent inundation, including monitoring manhole and channels to ensure it is functioned well.

We also evaluate areas prone to inudation thus we can respond quickly when inundation occurs due to rain

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf conveyed, routine monitoring is carried out to anticipate inundation.

"We also evaluate areas prone to inundation thus we can respond quickly when inundation occurs due to rain," he mentioned, Monday (9/28).

According to him, several areas prone to inundation are located in RT 02/03, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

"We have handled it by cleaning the manhole and channels from garbage thus water can flow properly," he stated.
