Data Warga Records 36,570 People Entering Jakarta

Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency has recorded 36,570 people who entered Jakarta after Eid. In details, there are 23,076 Jakarta residents and 13,494 non-Jakarta residents.

Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Acting Head, Budi Awaludin stated, that figure was based on data which collected by RT/RW administrators through website-based application called Data Warga.

"Based on inputted data, there are 13,534 people who bring COVID-19-free certificates, both PCR, antigen, and GeNose. As many as 83 people are identified positive for COVID-19," he informed.
According to him, Data Warga is used by RT/RW administrators to collect data of returnees and newcomers who have entered their regions.
"This application is very useful to control returnees so as not to cause others to feel discomfort, especially during COVID-19 pandemic," he asserted.
RT/RW administrators, he mentioned, can first register on datawarga-dukcapil.jakarta.go.id to input residents data to Data Warga application. Number of active users of Data Warga application has reached 29,940 or around 97.27 percent to date.
"We urge residents from outside of Jakarta to immediately report their arrival to local RT administrators thus they can input their data using Data Warga application," he said.
