Jakarta DPRD Bamus Sets Schedule of Legislative Activities

It will be filled with remarks from the Home Minister, the DPRD Chairman and the Jakarta Governor, as well as giving appreciation to a number of outstanding athletes

The Jakarta Legislative Council Consultative Body (Bamus DPRD), held a meeting to set the schedule of legislative activities during June to July, on Wednesday (6/16). Among them were the plenary meeting to celebrate the Jakarta's 494th Anniversary, work visits (kunker) and bylaw socialization (Sosperda).

Jakarta Bamus DPRD Vice Chirman, M Taufik said, the city's anniversary meeting was slated on June 22 at 9 AM.

"It will be filled with remarks from the Home Minister, the DPRD Chairman and the Jakarta Governor, as well as giving appreciation to a number of outstanding athletes," he stated, Wednesday (6/16).

As for the kunker for fraction, commission, board and special committee was scheduled in July. Commission kunker was held in the first week, board was in the second week, cross-commission was in the third week, and special committee work was in the fourth week of July.

He added the meeting today also agreed on the bylaw socialization, which was set in the second to fourth week of July, but the day was different from the kunker activities.

"Bylaw socialization is important thus people understand various legal products and implement them properly," he stated.
