Covid-19, Need for Oxygen Cylinders at Cengkareng Hospital is Still Being Met

The surge in Covid-19 cases in Jakarta has made the high demand for oxygen cylinders significantly. Surely this becomes the concern of the Cengkareng Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Jakarta.

We still have 53 oxygen cylinders, it is still quite enough

Cengkareng RSUD Public Relations Head, Aris Pribadi said the availability of oxygen cylinders was still sufficient. Up to Wednesday (6/30), his side still had 53 big cylinders.

"We still have 53 oxygen cylinders, it is still quite enough," he expressed, Wednesday (6/30).

In its distribution, his party got assistance from the West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency using operational cars. It was very helpful to get more cylinders amid the high demand for oxygen cylinders in recent days.

"With this collaboration, the stock of oxygen cylinders that arrive is faster," he said.

He added oxygen cylinders were only used for patients who really needed oxygen, including Covid patients with severe or critical symptoms who had not yet received an inpatient room.

"We only give oxygen cylinders according to expert doctor's advice. As for patients in the ward already using oxygen that has been installed," he closed.
