This Week, Sidewalks on Jalan Raden Saleh Revitalized

We're targeting to execute it according to schedule

The 940-meter sidewalk revitalization on the north side of Jalan Raden Saleh, Central Jakarta, will begin this week.

According to him, the sidewalks construction on both sides along Jalan Radeh Saleh was budgeted in two stages. The north side is estimated to be in 2021, with the work targeted for completion in the next three to four months.

"As for the revitalization on the south side is filed in the 2022 City Budget (APBD)," he explained.

He expressed, it is part of the sidewalk revitalization along the Cikini area, which is included as one of the Jakarta regional strategic activities (KSD).

"The sidewalk facilities that will be built are similar to the sidewalks on Jalan Cikini, which are currently being built and have been enjoyed by residents," he expressed.

At the same site, there would also be improvements to the drainage and other public facilities.

"We're targeting to execute it according to schedule and people can enjoy safe and comfortable sidewalk facilities," he stated.
