Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil) provides QR Code for residents who have problems with invalid Single Identity Number (NIK) and Family Cards (KK) in national service registration.
Foreigners who experienced similar problems could also access QR Code that had been provided
Jakarta Disdukcapil Head, Budi Awaluddin stated, QR Code was provided to follow up resident's reports who had difficulty in completing administrative requirements for national service related to NIK and KK which had not been updated.
"Based on our findings in the field, the situation makes it difficult for residents, even they cannot access BPJS, NPWP, banking, SIM cards and vaccination. It becomes our concern, so we open special channel for NIK/KK updates," he explained, Wednesday (9/22).
As Dukcapil Head, Budi Awaludin Committed to Provide Fast and Safe ServiceOn the first day NIK and KK update service opened, his side received 613 applications until 15:20.
"Thank God, their NIK/KK have been updated by this evening," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, for foreigners who experienced similar problems could also access QR Code that had been provided. Those who want to update Residential Certificate (SKTT) can scan the QR Code. SKTT will be updated within 1x24 hours.
"It is a part of our effort to provide convenience for residents," he said.
