PD. Dharma Jaya will build cold storage on Jalan Penggilingan, Cakung, East Jakarta as its effort to maintain food stock availability and food security, especially beef and chicken in Jakarta.

PD. Dharma Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman mentioned, actually he had planned to build cold storage with capacity 5,000 tons since 2020. However, due to pandemic situation at that time, the construction was postponed.
"It will be built on an area of 9,000 square meters owned by PD. Dharma Jaya," he stated, Tuesday (11/16).

"Since it is built in strategic location, later the cold storage can be rented out for storing animal-based products as needed," he explained.
He explained that PD. Dharma Jaya already has 32 cold storage units with capacity 25 tons each, bringing the total capacity to 800 tons.
"PD. Dharma Jaya is still widely known by public as slaughterhouse (RPH), even though we have various food businesses, such as producing processed food, providing cage rental, slaughtering service, selling sacrificial animals, frozen meat for butcher shops, fertilizers, and others," he said.
