Total 300 children aged 6-11 years from four private elementary schools and kindergartens/early childhood education programs (TK/PAUD) had been vaccinated at SD Budi Murni I, Cipayung, East Jakarta on Wednesday (1/5).

Cipayung Urban Village Head, Yulian Fathiniah mentioned, vaccination service at SD Budi Murni I had been held three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with participants from four schools, namely TK/SD Erlass, TK Putik, PKBM An Nur, and SD Budi Murni I. As many as 10 health workers were deployed from urban village health center assisted by 10 PKK cares and RPTRA administrators to input data and help for registration.

"Participants are from four schools. Hopefully it can accelerate our work to achieve child vaccination target in Cipayung," he added.

Based on data from Jakarta Education Agency's Dapodik in the region, there were 3,134 children aged 6-11 years from 13 public and private elementary schools who should be vaccinated. From that figure, as many as 2,016 children had been vaccinated or around 64.33 percent of target.

"We are targeting all children aged 6-11 years to be vaccinated by the end of January," he asserted.

Regarding children who are sick thus they have to postpone their vaccination, his side will direct them to take vaccination at urban village office hall every Monday and Tuesday. In that place, they will be served by health workers from Cipayung Sub-district Health Center.

"We provide quota of 200 children each day. On Tuesday and Thursday, we hold vaccination service at urban village health center," he said.
