Incessant Rain, Citizen Residential in N. Jakarta Inundated

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity flushed the capital since Sunday (2/8) night until Monday (2/9) noon, inundating some streets and citizen houses. In North Jakarta for instance, the inundation has reached 1 meter high.

Head of North Jakarta Disaster Management, Dedy Tarmidji stated his side still keeps monitoring the inundation in the field. He admitted, cannot report the update information yet.

"We're still waiting for the data in each region. Our officers from Public Works are still checking drains that clogged with trash. Additionally, pumps were also prepared to be installed in the inundated regions," he uttered.
