The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour in parts of Jakarta and its surroundings on Friday (1/19).

Today's air temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius

"Cloudy in the morning, but light rain in Seribu Islands," stated BMKG's official site, Friday (1/19).

In the afternoon, light rain will fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta; and cloudy in other cities.

At night, cloudy is expected in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands; and cloudy in other cities.

Entering dawn, most areas will see sunny and cloudy.

Today's air temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius with air humidity between 85 and 95 percent.
