Sheet Pile Construction of Pesanggrahan River Reaches 70 Percent

Jakarta Water Resources Agency keeps anticipating flood in the capital. One of the efforts is constructing sheet pile on Pesanggrahan Riverbank, Kedoya Selatan Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, West Jakarta.

It is targeted to complete in March 2024

Sub-agency's Drainage Sub-coordinator, Firmansyah Saputra, said the progress has reached 70 percent.

"The sheet pile is constructed on segment of Jalan Kedoya Raya up to Jalan Puri Kembangan," he said, Friday (2/16).

Two Weeks, Repair of Channels on Jalan Pluit Sakti 1 Completed

According to him, the sheet pile is installed along 1,000 meter of the west side of Pesanggrahan River on Jalan Haji Briti, Kembangan Selatan Urban Village.

Firman hoped the sheet pile construction will handle the overflow of Pesanggrahan River on Jalan Haji Briti and its surrounding.

"It is targeted to complete in March 2024," he closed.
