Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, attended the implementation of cheap staple food bazaar at SMAN 70 Bulungan, South Jakarta, Tuesday (5/22).

The program is a cooperation between Jakarta Provincial Government and SMAN 70 Alumnus. Thousands of staple food package were prepared by Perumda Pasar Jaya.

Gandaria Utara Residents Flock Cheap Staple Food BazaarThe package was sold Rp 100,000. It consisted 5 kilogram of rice, 1 kilogram of sugar, 1 kilogram of flour, and two liter of cooking oil.
Apart from that, there were retail food ingredients provided by Perumda Pasar Jaya and Perumda Dharma Jaya, such as beef, chicken and fishery products, as well as shallots at prices Rp 20,000/ half kilogram, curly red chili Rp 7,000/a quarter kilogram. All commodity were sold under the market place.
Meanwhile, Widi, one of Kebayoran Baru residents, admitted it was her first time buying staple food package in a bazaar program.
"5 kilogram rice at the market is sold Rp 75,000. Only with Rp 100,000 we can get more commodities," she admitted, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.
Widi hopes the program can be held routinely to assist residents fulfilling daily needs.
At the same moment, Heru also monitored new student admission. The implementation is synergy between Education Agency with Population and Civil Registration Agency.
