As many as 120 joint personnel conducted community work cleaning post-flood mud at residential on Jalan Binawarga, RW 07, Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran District, South Jakarta.

Rawajati Urban Village Head, Sariman said the community work involved personnel of PPSU, Water Resources Sub-agency, Environmental Sub-agency, and up to Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency of South Jakarta.

"We started the community work in the morning since the water already receded at 5 AM on Jalan Binawarga," he said, Wednesday (3/5).

Sariman explained five RTs in RW 07, Rawajati Urban Village were flooded due to overflowing Ciliwung River.

"Local residents were also involved to ensure they can go back to their houses this afternoon," he explained.

Meanwhile, Pancoran District's Water Resources Implementer Unit Head, Bowo stated his side also deployed excavator, jetting car, mobile pump, floating pump, alkon pump and dump truck.

"Today's activity was focused on post-flood handling in Rawajati and Pengadegan Urban Villages," he stated.
