50 UKMs Participating in Ramadhan Bazaar

Dozens entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses (UKM) are participating in Ramadhan Bazaar which is held on the parking area of East Jakarta Mayor office .

The Ramadhan bazaar is in order to guidance UKM in East Jakarta can have a place for exhibiting their products

Those UKM entrepreneurs consist of 25 guidance vendors of The Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Sub-Department(KUMKMP), 10 guidance vendors of Industry and Energy Sub-Department, 10 guidance vendors of Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, and 5 representative vendors of East Jakarta TP PKK. The exhibited products are fashion, handicraft, and culinary.

"The Ramadhan bazaar is in order to guidance UKM in East Jakarta can have a place for exhibiting their products thus it could be more developed and known in the community," said Head of East Jakarta Economic Division, Sutrisna, when he reviewed Ramadhan bazaar along with Economic Assistant of East Jakarta Administration, Eric P.Z. Lumbun, Wednesday (7/8).

East Jakarta to Open the Folk Market

Lumbun uttered through the bazaar, the UKM entrepreneurs could open market segment wider. It is mentioned, UKM entepreneurs and Cooperative have an important role in upholding the pillars of the nation's economy. Therefore, he added, it is normal if the entrepreneurs are given a widely chance to develop their enterprises.
