5,800 Meters of Transjakarta Bus Lanes Repaired

Around 5,800 meters of Transjakarta bus lanes in the city are damaged. From that number, 75 percent had been repaired by spending Rp 61.5 billion. 

As the request of PT Transjakarta that has conducted mutual monitoring, there are 5,800 meters of damaged road

Head of Road Maintaining Division for Jakarta Bina Marga Department, Yudi Febriadi stated the road reparation was proposed by PT Transjakarta after conducting mutual checking. It focuses on potholes and bumpy roads. Because such condition could disrupt the bus' trip and break the suspension of the bus' connection. 

"As the request of PT Transjakarta that has conducted mutual monitoring, there are 5,800 meters of damaged road. The reparation is for anticipating bumping," he stated, Monday (8/24).

He told, such reparation is prioritized in corridor 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9. Those roads then concreted to make it last longer. 

One of those damaged roads is on Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, Petojo Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

There are some Transjakarta bus lanes that have been repaired. They are in corridor 3 on Jalan Daan Mogot, West Jakarta. Particularly at worst points such as in Sumur Bor, Samsat Bus Stop, Cengkareng Intersection, Rawa Buaya. Then, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Majapahit, and the other points in Central Jakarta.
