Fire Victims 'Children' inTambora Vulnerable to Stress

Hundreds of fire victims living in RW 04, Jembatan Besi Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta, are still evacuated in refugee camps. 170 of them are toddlers until students that vulnerable to stress with the current situation.

All of them are vulnerable to stress, therefore I will coordinate with psychologist. Then their needs should also be prioritized, for example diapers and formula milk

Head of Emergency and Logistics Division for Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Endang Achadiat stated there are 792 people lost their settlement.

And there are also 66 toddlers and 20 students of kindergarten, 50 students of elementary school, and 34 students of junior and other students of senior high school who need special attention.

According to him, the number could be increased. As the data collection is still on going.

"But I hope the number could be decreased, as staying on tent is not worthy for them. They should stay in their relatives' house," he disclosed.
