As many as 59,970 vehicles were netted by Jakarta Transportation Department on January 2-September 30, 2015. It is because those vehicles parked in forbidden places.
The most raid is OCP of two-wheeled vehicles that is about 18.634 vehicles
Head of Operational Controlling Division for Jakarta Transportation Department, Maruli Tua Sijabat stated, the number is a proof of citizens low awareness. The raid consisted of Tire Valve Unplugging Operation (OCP), BAP or ticketing, stopping operation, towing, and transporting.
"The most raid is OCP of two-wheeled vehicles that is 18.634 vehicles, followed with BAP against public transportation is 17.620 vehicles," he explained, Friday (10/2).
As for BAP against private vehicles is 3.319 vehicles. And of 5 areas of the city, the highest BAP is in East Jakarta that is about 3.750 vehicles.
"For the highest OCP is in Central Jakarta with 8.598 vehicles. We have raid focus points in Tanah Abang, Senen, and Roxy," he disclosed.
