Fire destroyed a three-hectare dense populated area located at Jalan Lebak Bulus 5, RT 14/04, Cilandak Barat, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/7).

Head of South Jakarta Rescue and Fire Handling Sub-Department, Irwan stated there was no casualty reported in the incident, but hundreds of residents’ houses razed by fire.
“There are 150 households by total number
of 300 lives. While non-permanent residents amounted to 500 people,” he reported, Wednesday (10/7).
Furthermore, his side sent 27 fire trucks to manage the flames.
“We deployed 27 fire trucks to the scene. The fire is allegedly triggered by electricity short-circuit,” he finished.
