Spotlights to Be Installed at Tens JPO of Transjakarta Corridor

Starting in 2016, the spotlights will began to be installed along 61 pedestrian bridges (JPO) in Transjakarta bus corridors. It was already included in General Policy of City Budget (APBD)'s priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS) 2016.

We have allocated budget this repair and spotlight installation in 61 pedestrian bridges

"We have allocated budget this repair and spotlight installation in 61 pedestrian bridges. If the city budget was ratified, we would immediately draft auction documents and make a contract for maintenance and repair,” said Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Andri Yansyah, Wednesday (11/25).

According to him, if city budget discussion goes well, the program can be executed in early next year. Before proposing it, he had classified and inventoried bridge conditions.

Yansyah added, it does not include installation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras.
