Hidayat said that smartphone user in Jakarta is
so varied. Nowadays, around 90 percent of children in Jakarta have smartphone which
can access to virtual world.
“They must be protected. They mustn’t open adult
content site, we need a filter,” he said, Thursday (11/26).
According to him, as a telecommunication company,
Vodafone has a good reputation in Europe, Africa, Middle East and America. Even
they have their own technology to block sites according to user age.
“They have theirs technology, the execution itself
must involve parents and school also,” he explained.
