Land in Sukapura Installed with Tax Defaulter Signpost

Tax object in form of a 60,000-square-meter land at Jalan Tipar Cakung, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta is installed with a signpost of urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2 defaulter. Arrears of the land owner, PT Teguh Timur is amounted to Rp 2,3 billion. 

The tax arrears about Rp 2.3 billion, it has been in arrears for 3 years from 2013-2015

Head of Cilincing Sub-District's Tax Service Unit, Muhammad Juhfa said that the signpost installation is a warning given to tax defaulter. "So the land belongs to PT Teguh Timur. We install the signpost as they are in arrears of the tax," he stated, Tuesday (12/1). 

Juhfa ensures the 50x30 cm signpost written 'Tax of this land and building has not been paid' will be still on the land until the taxpayer fulfilled their obligation. "Tax arrears about Rp 2.3 billion, it has been in arrears for 3 years from 2013-2015," he disclosed. 

PBB-P2 Tax Revenue in E. Jakarta Touched 75 Percent

He added that if the taxpayer could pay the tax in the near future, officer from Cilincing UPPD will immediately remove the signpost. 

"If they pay after this years ends, they will deal with attorney. Let the attorney collect the tax and remove the signpost," he stated.
