Channels in Tomang Cleaned

To anticipate puddle when raining in Tomang Urban Village, as many as 57 Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers are cleaning whole water channels spread in 16 RWs in the urban village.

From the mapping result, the most puddle prone is still in front of Trisakti

Tomang Urban Village Head, Bambang said that currently the process is already on mud dredging step. But, part of them are on progress by West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department.

"From the mapping result, the most puddle prone is still in front of Trisakti, it means that if Trisakti is overflowed then it is possible that area would also be flooded," he said, Tuesday (12/1). 

According to him, the part of channels cleaned predictably could reserve water debit up to 40 cm. Such condition is supported after Water Pump Station in Trisakti runs well. 

"I think there must be puddle, it is just will not last longer, I've check it all, they're in good condition, part of channel and pump in Trisakti work well," he explained.
