Several ways to expedite river normalization keeps being intensified by South Jakarta Administration. One of them is by holding socialization against residents living in RT 11, 12 and 15/RW 10 in Bukit Duri Urban Village Hall.

Mayor of South Jakarta, Tri Kurniadi disclosed that resident homes near Ciliwung riverbank is not in good condition, as water level in rainy season is very dangerous.
"Normalization must be done soon. I am afraid overflowing waters of river could hit locals,” he expressed, Wednesday (12/2).
December, Socialization of Bukit Duri Land Acquisition RunKurniadi added that his side will prioritize land acquisition to smoothen normalization.
“Our priority program is to expedite river normalization work,” he exclaimed.
Head of South Jakarta Law Division, Dedi Rohedi added principally, the city government wants to arrange residents in Bukit Duri better.
"We are working in accordance with the applicable procedures. Locals who want compensation should be attached accurate file," he expressed.
