Head of Jakarta Water Management Department, Teguh Hendarwan pledged to solve flood issue in Capital.

Hendarwan acknowledged hard working
and comprehensive coordination with other Regional Working Unit (SKPD/UKPD) are
required to solve the issue.
“We should work hard and hold a
good cooperation with all parties (sub-dept, headmen, cleanliness dept). I
optimistic it’ll be better just control it,” he expressed.
Though he has no any background in
Water Management field yet he still optimistic can lead the department well.
“That’s why we need suporting team,
there are still good partners there who are ready to help us,” he exclaimed.
He asserted that he is ready to be
replaced in case of his bad performance.
“I am ready to accept any risks,”
he closed.
