Extreme weather which is going on lately in Jakarta waters makes whole side related with crossing to Seribu Islands has to extra beware.

Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department also continuously appeals passengers and boat helmsmen to monitor weather progress and information from the officers.

"We do appeal routinely, particularly when the crossing is crowded. Including checking intensively the completeness of passenger safety equipments," said Head of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department, Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Saturday (12/19).

In addition, the completeness of boat and passengers safety is important to be considered before unwanted incident happens.

"Weather changing now can't be predicted, it could be big and high wave suddenly come," he added.
