"We do appeal routinely, particularly when the crossing is crowded. Including checking intensively the completeness of passenger safety equipments," said Head of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department, Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Saturday (12/19).
In addition, the completeness of boat and passengers safety is important to be considered before unwanted incident happens.
"Weather changing now can't be predicted, it could be big and high wave suddenly come," he added.
