Following the statement of the National Commission for Child Protection that saying Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) is potentially becoming a sex crime nest against children, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama seriously responded it and asserted that the public space can prevent immoral action against children. “ It is impossible pedophile predator visit to the public place as we have equipped it with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) ,” he asserted, after he attended Public Discuss of Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) in Kartini Hall, South Jakarta, Tuesday (12/22).

According to him, the public place is an open space thus residents could directly monitor surrounding residents from crime or immoral action. “We can easily arrest the actor,” he expressed.

He went on the say that residents can get to know each other and the children can play together.
