6 Refuge Tents Accomodate Bukit Duri Fire Victims

As many as 150 households at Jalan Bukit Duri Pangkalan RT 03/12, Bukit Duri, Tebet, South Jakarta, lose their settlement due to fire incident occured last Thursday (12/24). Now they are accomodated in 6 refuge tents built in the local urban village.

There have been refuge posts, the refugee have also been given aid and medical treatment from Community Health Service (Puskesmas)

"The residents whose houses burnt now staying in 6 refuge tents along Jalan Bukit Duri Pangkalan. The some aids such as packages of meal and instant noodles have been received by them since yesterday," said Chairman of RT 03/12 Bukit Duri, Jamil, Friday (12/25).

He told that for kids are still being recorded. As for aids from private sides have been so many.

86 Households in Bukit Duri Relocated to Flat

"We hope government could give more aids," he told.

Bukit Duri Urban Village Head, Mardi Youce added, his side had coordinated with the related unit like South Jakarta Social Sub-Department and Jakarta Natural Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) to distribute aids for disaster victims.

"There have been refuge posts, the refugee have also been given aid and medical treatment from Community Health Service (Puskesmas)," he explained.
