Many Plants on Flyovers In East Jakarta Dead

Hundreds of plants alongside some flyovers in East Jakarta are dead. Such condition makes the flyover dirty and look unmaintained

I have instructed the Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department to replace them

Those flyovers are Pondok Kopi, Buaran,  Klender, and Pondok Bambu Flyover. The condition has been going on since 3 months ago.

Knowing this matter, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana asked  the Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department to immediately replace the dead plants.

"It's based on Governor's instruction that there are no empty pots or dead plants. I have instructed the Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department to replace them," he stated, Friday (12/25).

Head of East Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Jansen Saragih told that not all of the plants are in dead condition. Like on Pondok Kopi Flyover.

Hie side has also asked the new ones to Parks and Cemeteries Department, but it has not been given until this time.

"They're running out stocks. If they had, the number wouldn't be adequate. We need 9,000 new plants," he disclosed.
