20 Shanties in Rawamangun Terminal Controlled

We get complaints from Qlue regarding shanties in terminal

Due to its existence is disturbed, local officer had to demolish 20 shanties belonging street vendor in Rawamangun Terminal, Jati Urban Village, East Jakarta.

Jati Urban Village Head, Dewi Purnamasari said prior to demolishment, her side had warned street vendors as they have interfered public order and traffic flow.

10 Stalls in Menteng Controlled

"We get complaints from Qlue regarding shanties in terminal," she remarked, Sunday (12/27).

Such stalls are mostly used to trade food, beverages, tobacco and fruits. "We sent 30 joint officers comprised of urban village, sub-district, Satpol PP, Police/Army," she mentioned.

Meanwhile, Head of Rawamangun Terminal, Bastian said a number of plant pots will be put to make terminal greener and prevent street vendor.

"During this time, the existence of street vendors is very disturbing. Vehicles seemed difficult crossing terminal. We intend to put ornamental plants there," he finished.
