Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama admitted the submission of 2016 City Budget (APBD) to Home Ministry has delayed. The delay is due to budget reviewing to prevent fictitious budget.

Indeed, we were supposed to submit the budget on November 30

" Indeed, we were supposed to submit the budget on November 30 ," he said, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/29).

Based on the rule, the budget ratification in each region is at least one month before the budget applies or every November 30.

He uttered he deliberately chose late in ratification because conducting budget review in advance. It was conducted for 11 days to all regional working units (SKPD).

"Late is better than let problem occur in the future," he asserted.
