Tobacco Company Allows to Assist RPTRA Development

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama does not prohibit tobacco companies assisting the development of the Integrated Child Friendly Public Spaces (RPTRA). But they are prohibited to advertise cigarettes around RPTRA sites.

"Tobacco companies are allowed to help us in RPTRA development, as long as they don't advertise cigarettes," he expressed, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/30).

This year, he is targeted to build RPTRA in 63 locations. They will be managed private company through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Of the 63 locations, 11 of them were been built. They are  Gandaria Selatan, Kembangan Utara, Meruya Utara, Cililitan, Pulogebang, Cideng (Kenanga), Pulau Untung Jawa (Amiterdam), Sungai Bambu, Sunter, Bintaro, and Karet Tengsin.

While the rest of 150 locations will be complete in January and February 2016. Meanwhile, its development will use 2016 City Budget (APBD).
