City to Manage Street Vendor for Car Free Day

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to manage street vendor on Jalan MH Thamrin during car free day implementation. It is because mostly of street vendor often use the roadside for selling.
It is predicted that there will be 500-750 street vendors
Later on, city administration will coordinate with Food and Medicine Supervision Board to monitor the food sold by street vendor.
Yani Wahyu Purwoko, Deputy Dept. of Transportation, said his side will also coordinate with Dept. of Cooperative, Micro, Small, and Middle Enterprise and Trade, and Satpol PP. As the beginning step, his side is still collecting the data.
