Manhole Cover on Jalan Raya Pondok Labu Collapsed

A connecting channel's manhole cover on Jalan Raya Pondok Labu, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta, precisely in front of food stall, collapsed on Tuesday (1/12) afternoon. Luckily, there was no casualty.

There is no casualty reported in the incident, but only damaged a motorcycle that parked on the manhole cover

Head of Pondok Labu Urban Village, Siti Fauziah Ghozalu said, the collapsed manhole cover is due to unavailable sheet pile. No wonder, the channel's wall eroded and then collapsed after being hit by rain.

"There is no casualty reported in the incident, but only damaged a motorcycle that parked on the manhole cover," he reported, Tuesday (1/12).

His side has reported this matter to South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department and immediately followed up. "The manhole cover is still being repaired so far," he expressed.
